December 28th - Free Draw Friday

Bird bird bird, bird is the word.

Bunny! Cause, bunny.

December 27th - View from your window

Treetops and a hazy morning.

December 26th - Boxing

A happy boxer 'pup'.

December 25th - Santa Claus

Something a bit different.

Oops.

Fell out of sync, but here's what I did before skipping a month of painting.

November 22nd - Share a Recipe

November 3rd: Consumerism, Alternate theme: Jackalopes

Meditation and minimalism sounds more appealing. And antlers, cause jackalopes. Yup.

November 25th - the letter J

Lines for a Jay

November 26th - Coffee or Tea

November 27th - Fantasy Races

November 28th - Harajuku

November 17th to 21st

17th: Freedraw! Alternate theme: orange.
I set up a still life and everything! Messy oranges,
And, ugly oranges

November 18th - The Happy Couple
A couple of birds:

November 20th - Insects
I love when one of these floats past my window.

November 21st - Hands
Something cheesy, because why not? I got a little trigger-happy with the salt.

November 5th - Design A Toy

"Sky's the limit. Design a toy you always dreamt of having."

Something crazy but fluffy, of course.

Productive Relaxation

I took a day off life to relax yesterday and ended up productive anyways, doing a few portraits.

November 4th - A Trip to the Playground

I would hop on the swings, and go somewhere else

I'm selling limited edition prints of this piece in my Etsy shop!

November 3rd - Wine

Something simple.

It had a great response, which lightened my heart :) I often wonder if I should really bother to create, if anyone enjoys it enough that I should keep going on, but positive comments give me fuel.

NanoWriMo!

I've been roped into participating in NanoWriMo this year. There's an idea brewing in my head, so starting should be easy but the second week will burn. If there's time, I'll post a bit of it here!

Scratch that. I did start writing, and developed enough of a storyline that 200+ pages should be no problem, but, I'm learning to listen to my body and it's needs. Since I've been pushing too hard the past couple months, it's time to give myself rest, and I will write later for the pleasure of it rather than under the mental whip of perfectionism. I have an idea, and it will grow naturally with time. Perhaps next November, I'll be able to fill it out completely ;)

RGD - xxchocolateTHUNDERxx

October 25 - Middle Earth

A crappy hobbit sketch.

October 24th - Northern

Blah landscape sketch.

A dash of color.

Art Battle: Good vs Evil

Starting on something, and wanted to share my initial sketch (NSFW-ish) to pressure myself towards finishing the thing.
Edit: started inking! From my phone
Edit3: Just enough time to throw down my first layer of color. There's much more work to do, but this will probably be my 'finished' submission. Concept blurb: Good and Evil are a battle on the inside, not the outside.  The dark periods in life are worth persisting through for a glimpse of the light.

Final piece, NSFW-ish

Etsy!

After much prodding (which I am thankful for :) my Etsy page is up! Or at least, my first 'item' is. So, I am now accepting commissions *confetti* Prints should be coming soon, once I locate a good place to order them.

So, don't shoot that rabbit Arto!

October 16th - Crime Scene

"Illustrate a crime scene. It could be realistic or perhaps something more outlandish.
Ongoing alternate theme: ghost people."

Ghost people always appear in unusual perspectives.

Old SkD Submissions

Here is an album of my old SkD stuff! Some of it's good, some of it's bad; but it's mostly okiedokie.

And, of course, Skitch! From the very first SkD live-drawing session, nearly a year ago. Ah, memories!

October 11th - The Perfect World for Girls Tumblr

Everyone would have piles of books...

ever-growing and with more than they could ever possibly read.

I work to fund my book addiction.
